I am looking to get a remote start system for my 97. Does anyone have good works about the Viper 2-way units? Supposedly they can start the vehicle from a mile away but i'm sure those stats are fluffed a bit. Basically I want to be able to start the vehicle from inside the house or at my office, I also want to be able to leave it running while locked when I grab coffee in the mornings. Being that summer in AZ is here cooling the vehicle before I get in would also be a plus.

This brand has good reviews and several options for distance, including 1 mile and 3 miles. I'd recommend a 2-way kit so you'll recieve confirmation it's running.
