As stated, I had a maxtrac leveling kit on the truck, trimmed the fenders and bumper and took the leveling kit out, now every time I hit a decent sided pot hole or bump the highway he bump stops hit, and I know it is the bump stops, they've hit the dust off the contact point on the axle. Anyone have any experience, suggestions, ect?? I would like to keep them on the truck if possible. Thanks.

They're doing what they'd designed to do. Not much else to say...

Yes their doing what their supposed to but why would they be hitting so violent? It's not a normal feeling. Shocks are good, bilstines have been on it for less than a year and were on it before the lift during and still are.

Age doesn't matter on a shock...they may still be bad.
If it's at stock height it'll always hit the stops on big bumps...not much room there to begin with.

When my truck was stock. I hit the bumps daily. Even on the highway.

You got used to the leveling kit having more travel. The fix? Put a leveling kit back on.
