Can I remove the air dam to install my plow frame or do I need it for cooling. Don't want to cut it , think it will look like **** when plow is not on truck .

I cut my Brother-In-Laws around his plow mounts. It looks good. He has a Western plow. What kind are you using? It actually looks worse with no air dam IMHO.

I have a fisher. It is only the push plates that you see when the plow is off. screw it it is a work truck. I just try to make things look nice. My bro in law made steel drop plates to put his below his air dam but that was a GMC and there dam is alot smaller.

You will want the air dam. Your truck will overheat when you are going down the road with your plow on because it will block all the air and the only air getting to your engine bay is what the air dam forces up. Just trim it and make it look as good as you can.
