Replacing core support

No one makes a aftermarket OBS core support. Even if it says it is for a diesel, you will end up with a gasser support that doesn't drop low enough for the diesel radiator. One part you have to scour wrecking yards for or find a used one someone is selling which usually isn't cheap. Most the time $400-$600 range used. Last one I saw sell on Ebay was for $550 plus $100 shipping.

the gasser core support is gonna be different because the radiator for the gasser F250's on OBS trucks are smaller so therefore they llok different but if you want true legitimate and dont care about the money then go through LMC truck or you can pm me and i can hook you with a guy who is parting out his '97 f350 and get the core support from him

I guess the rumors I've heard are true. Thanks for saving me from that one.

I'll start scouring craigslist. Wrecking yards are out because if the core support survives the crash, the dip chits we have around here will cut the core support with a sawzall to get the engine out. Seen it before. :doh:
