Resetting keyless entry

just looked under the dash on on the right kick panel...no such luck. Guess I will try behind the radio when I have time. '06 F350 lariat if that makes a difference.

My friend just bought an 04 ford and doesn't have the code for the keyless entry on the door. How does he reset it? Does he need to go to the dealer?

you need the master code to add erase user codes
u can not change the factory master code without replacing the module

like mentioned the code is on a module under the dash I used a snake camera to find mine LOL

dealer can pull it with the IDS but they want at least 1/2 hour of diagnostics
unless there friendly

it's only in the manual if someone wrote it in

Someone once told me the code is on the back wall of the cab, behind the panel. How much truth there is to that is beyond me as I've never looked personally.
