retinning J3 port

Short version, I had it soldiered at a computer shop as it was showing too much copper,
new chip doesn't act rite.
So who knows what percentage of tinn is to be used.
Waiting on Beans to also make sure code files are correct.

They laid it on thick, I've since taken it off, would you happen to what % of tin is in the solder.
I emailed the tuning dept. about this as well, waitin on reply.

It depends on what they used. It is most likely 60/40 that they used but if it were me, I would use silver solder but that is just my .02.

Chip acted like a connectivity problem. most times no start, glow plug light would stay on, engine light would stay on.
But when it started, the peddle was soft, you really had to get in it and it would take off.
Even with these issues it made 303/598

Well..... J3 port was fried..... No more chip. Looking to get it flashed to hold me over till i get a new pcm.
