River City Diesel CAC pipe install

I bought my CAC pipe (with 3 bungs, plugs included) from RCD on Thursday around 2pm and it was at my door by Saturday at 11am. I just got to installing it today and it went very smooth. First I loosened all the clamps on the boots and then trimmed up the radiator support (aluminum, cut very easy) and tried to wiggle the old IC pipe out towards the motor, had to trim a little more then it came out with a little wiggling. Cleaned the boots and then wiggled the new RCD piece in the same way the old one came out. Once in I tightened all the clamps and took it for a road test. Noticed right away the spool up off the line was much faster. Also noticed there was more noise from the air moving thru the charged air side of the intake (sounds awesome) I wish I could tell you if it helped with egts but my probe is going bad.

I'm very happy with it. Very nice piece, fitment was awesome and it's made from 304 SS.

I finally was able to get around to buying something for the truck. I decided to keep it raw. was gunna paint it the same color as my turbos, valve cover/rocker boxes, and intake elbow but figured it be to much ford blue

Yeah I know. It was cold out with the wind blowing. I'll take a grinder and smooth it out when it's nicer out. Still works plus no one can see it right now

Hard to tell. My egt prove is on it's way out. Only reads around the 500s while cursing and then regularly drops to 92-170 degrees. I would assume so because to me it sounds like a lot more air is moving
