I had a street scene in my garage for awhile that I never installed. I could tell it was going to look like crap.

I went with Unbroken's advice and got the Grant. It took some fab work to get it on the truck but it looks really good. Dont order around Christmas time though. It took me over 2 months to get mine in my hands.

Took a few weeks to get mine too but I ordered it with the compound curve and flush plate box.
Well worth the wait.

Yes the grant one looks the best. Just out of my price range. I'm really trying to get a used one.

My truck is disgusting right now.... You're lucky I posted the picture for the sake of showing the hitch.

Goddamn roll pans look awesome.

I've been thinking about putting a roll pan on my 85 for a while now, But I just like knowing with my bumper if anyone ever rear ends me (please contain the gay jokes) that my frame won't get f*cked up.

Why are making decisions on my truck so hard

LOL that is all....

Well if you get hit (from behind ) your usually screwed, unless it was a dead on hit, and they slide under the hitch. But.if you back into a car and crush your bed corner, yoyr f*cked.

I was rear ended with a roll pan on. The hidden hitch tucked right up behind the pan acted like a bumper. Yes, there was some bed side damage but it was repairable....and I replaced that pan with the one in Jap's pic. That's the same Sir Mikes pan I posted a pic of earlier. LOL

:whs: That was Rich's roll pan.

I need to get the whole truck painted, but now the pan has some chips on top. My father in law dragged a logging chain across the roll pan when my tailgate was off...

Unbroken, when you shaved your tail gate you should have shaved the grove that runs along the bottom of it as well. IMHO it would make it look sooo much cleaner. I want a roll pan for mine but I dont want to lose my parking sensors.

I have the sir michaels rollpan on mine, it's urethane, and it's been on for a little under 2 years right now and I've never had an issue, fitment is great and it's absolutely amazing looking...also you CAN use your stock hitch with a rollpan, you just have to move it back on the frame by 1 bolt hole....it's possible and very easy.
