Fuel flow, spray and injector balance differences are most noticeable at idle. You could just about turn an injector off at 3000 rpm and the other 7 will cover up for it pretty good.

Exactly. These trucks are tough and many are hurt or ill before anybody notices. There are lots of crappy running trucks.

There could be a whole host of problems with this truck.

I hope that's not the case. I hope it's just something simple. Knowing my luck it's not going to be simple but I hope it's not going to have to be an engine rebuild.

I know this is a powerstroke sight but if you have someone good local it sometimes pays to have someone who does this stuff to look and tell you what is wrong. And maybe perform the repairs. No shame in needing it done quickly and right.

Especially when you get into electronic crap if you dont understand it.

Ive had a worn uvch cause a miss like that when really cold.
