If you're spending the money to switch to a 400 frame charger, at least make it worth your while and go with a 472!

Depends on your definition of streetable, forewarning there may be a pissing match from those who think they are, or aren't. But in my opinion, with the right tuning and setup, they are absolutely streetable.

edit: damn blue chach beat me to it!

No less streetable than 300cc injectors. :D

Seriously, though... 300cc injectors with an S472 would actually be a pretty good combination, especially with the right A/R housing. If you were looking to go with a set of 250's or 238's, the 466 would be a good choice as well.

Budget brawler runs a 472 on his daily driver but it is a touch on the laggy side but also makes great power..... With right shift points it's not a bad turbo

Think of it like this the switch you made from the 64/68/.83 to the 66/74/91 it will just be the next step lagger

That charger would be a dog to spool with the open .88 t4. The 71 wheel is a limiting factor and an absolute waste to stepping to a 400 series. What you have now will honestly flow better and spool better.

Either 225/100 or 285/150 will work just as well depending on tuning.

Yes. I'm running an S466/83/.90 T4 divided on my 7.3. I can see 20+psi on mine around 1700 RPM, but displacement helps a lot. It would have more lag on a 6.0.

It would be nice to see that kind of boost at that rpm on a 6.0, I can see 20 psi at 2200 rpm. A cam and higher stall converter will help the 6.0, but it will never spool on a 6.0 like it does on a 7.3.

Shawn pm me.

I love my 475 batmo 87/80 .90 AR I can spool on the brake with stock stall speed converter. Pulls 63PSI of boost and cleans up my 400/150's to a mild haze.
