I have found plenty of useful info here so I figure its time to join in and contribute when I can.
Short Story:
I'm a Cummins fan happily trapped in a slightly modified 6.4 that continues to exceed my expectations.
Long Story:
Introduced to diesels from an accessory shop I worked in that installed superchips! Ha, I thought those PowerStrokes ran good! Then Dad bought a 01 Cummins that ran circles around the 7.3's I was driving at the shop. (OK, slightly exaggerated) I was hooked on the Cummins, so I(my Dad) bought me a super clean low mileage 02 that I have to this day. Its not quite as clean now as it was back then but she runs like a top. So, why the 6.4 PowerStroke? Sadly the 6.4 was my Dad's when he passed away. The truck, like all things he had, was clean & well maintained so it's staying!
