Is there a bypass or a way to change it so the horn doesnt have to beep before starting? Not sure if they are all like this but on my 99 before it will start you have to use the fob to unlock it

Its stock i believe. Uses ford key fob and the box has a ford tech number to call. I called them and they said "needs reprogrammed take it to a dealership "

Tgat doesnt look like a factory key fob and it doesnt act like a factory alarm. It may be a dealer add on alarm, and the dealer you are taking it to now doesnt deal with it, like the one that sold it.

Still looks like a dealer add on. I have the "Ford" code alarm in mine, says ford all over it, but its an aftermarket deal. The factory one wouldnt have a wiring diagram on the back. I would pull it out if it pisses you off.

It look like if you jmper the two pin plug together, it should work fine. It may crank it though, so try it with a paper clip before cutting and splicing. Its kinda hard to tell without looking at it on the truck.
