Just took mine to my uncle at ford, the speed sensor is bad and he said to replace the whole hub and bearing. So, that's the fix in my case.

Gonna order one tonight. Anybody know the best place to order one??

why replace the whole hub and bearing? im asking cause I had mine scanned too and I got the same response was that the speed sensor was bad on the front driver side. so im ordering parts today too, but want to know more about the bearing and hub to replace and why so I can decide on if I need that too

He said since mine goes off also when I turn the wheel and I can feel a grinding under my feet that my hub is most likely bad also. So he said while I'm in there to replace it also.

ok that makes sense, mine doesn't do it when I turn only when im trying to break and once or twice when I took off at a red light

i just ordered the whole assembly for $213 shipped from rock auto. Got a Timken one, i read great reviews on them

decided it was worth doing the hubs for as cheap as they were, I cant do just one, I've been there already and replaced one on my 6.0 and 3 months later the other side went out. so I am doing both hubs and sensors.

still got all the parts for less than $500 shipped and my local ford house wanted over $500 for one hub.

That's a good idea. I'm replacing mine on friday, I'll post back if it was the problem. I really hope so haha but I'm 99% confident that this will solve it

I replaced my hub this weekend and it worked! 4x4 engages smoothly now (before it took 3 or 4 tries for it to engage) and the advance trak light doesn't come on anymore. Hopefully this will help you guys out! Install wasn't bad except for the snap right holding the hub on was tough, and the studs on the old hub were hard to get off because the new one didn't come with them so I just heated them with an acetylene torch and they came off

I gave up on the snap ring, I have someone coming by today or tomorrow to get that for me since I broke 4 set of pliers doing it, I saw the issue on the studs so I went and got 8 new ones for the new hub and buts for the back side that way I didn't have to mess with any of it. only thing holding me up now is the snap ring

Well got mine fixed mine was just the speed sencer.. I didn't have any hub damage

both front hubs replaced on mine, the ABS and hill decent light and service track light are still on, I forgot to clear the codes so I need to get the tool back to do that and I believe my issues are corrected as well. haven't had any trouble since then, just need to get rid of the annoying light

replaced both front hubs with new sensors in them, they come with new sensors already installed in the new wheel bearing hub kits that you buy.
