Need some opinions on shocks, my 1999 F-350 is used for hauling my gooseneck loaded around 20,000 lbs. I have been running some RS 9000's which worked okay but are now worn out.

Any advice on some good shocks for this application that won't break the bank? I called ICON and am still in shock about the $330 a piece price he quoted me over the phone.

You wore out rs 9000 adjustable ?

Have you tried to get them replaced under warranty they are the best option being adjustable IMHO

I had 1 die and no questions asked it was swapped out

I like adjustables for towing so I can make the rear stiffer for the weight and have a little better ride without the weight.

I went with Bilstein, haven't even got them on yet. Ever since I put the RS-9000's on a 100,000 miles ago I was never impressed with the ride. Hopefully theses are better.

Take the shocks off the back of your truck and let me know how far you could herd the thing down the rode?
