Well today's project was to install a set of djm 2" lowering shackles and install a set of factory ford black step bars. I know some will not agree with the step bars but I promised my dad I would make it where he could get in and out so that's that for now. I also think the harley wheels will add a twist with the black Inserts as well. It rides so much better down in the back. The drop was about 1.5" on a measuring tape.

What exactly are the plans for it? Looks and performance wise? Maybe to help the truck hook you can do a drag car style 4 link in the rear if it's in the budget.

Yea I want it to be a very fast street truck but I'm not going to be at the strip every week. I figured I will do 20" harley for the street and some kind of street slick on 17s for the track. I do still want to drive and use this truck daily. Maybe later on i can go further into it but I will be happy with a high 11- low 12 2wd.

i like your choice of the harley wheels, nitto 420s are really cheap performance tires.

personally, i think that ptm front bumper and a roll pan in the back would be killer. there should be a good market for the tow mirrors that are on it, slap some nemo ones on to fit the street look.

ptm the door handles (63ea from sunrise)

leave the fender vents chrome and paint the mesh red (or plastidip) and get the xl grill smoothed and ptm.

about those steps...invest in some amps :poke:

Looove the truck.

Painting the grill yourself isn't bad. I did mine, I had to peel the chrome off first and then I used a spray paint made for plastics and painted the plastic under the chrome with a few coats and then did a few coats of clear. Cost me about 20 bucks. The most time consuming part for me was peeling the chrome off (was bubbling and took me 5-6 hours with a pocket knife) but you wouldn't need to do that
