With the posting of our truck making 1025hp on fuel only, we've had many of you asking questions so we want to try & address them below.

Q- Why is the torque number so low?
A- That's because of the big chargers on the truck. The turbos are just lighting & the 6.7 can't fuel past 3800rpm but we are working on that.

Q- What's the set up on this truck?
A- The race truck is now running a 75 / 106. Both are Borg units s400 and s500 based.

Q- What kind of shifter is in the truck?
A- That's a custom one-off shifter designed for & only utilized by SPE.

Q- What engine is in that truck?
A- It's still a 6.7 Powerstroke. We have no plans on putting a 6.4 in it. Sorry.

Q- What was the 926hp I saw on the previous run?
A- That was us running it in overdrive. The transmission didn't like that with the load required to spool the chargers properly.

Q- What's all done to the engine?
A- SPE Stage II Long Block

Q- Whose dual fueler are you using?
A- SPE dual C4 .2 high pressure fuel pumps (one of only 2 made)

Q- What injectors are in it?
A- SPE 60% Over

Q- What dyno settings are you using?
A- SAE with a smoothing of 4

Q- How much boost does it make?
A- The pull was made with a street boost level of 90psi & the dyno load was constant through the pull.

No worries! Just curious.. Awesome numbers.. Is the large turbos the only reason why this 6.7 didn't make big torque or is this engine not going to produce the big torque numbers that some of the other platforms do?

That isn't the case...There has been a single turbo 6.7 that did 885 and 1840.

It's the larger turbos & the inability to run passed 3800rpm. We are working on the rpm situation tho.

Is it possible you could garner better spool and numbers by slightly downsized chargers? Or do you anticipate the rpm issues resolution opening up a whole new world beyond for these chargers?

At any rate this is incredible!

If you could make identical passes what would the E T difference be between a 1000 1000 truck to a 1000 1500 truck ya think?

Ummmm, depends on the rpm that the torque peak takes place. I think? Theoretically wouldn't they do the same but in different points of powerband?
