Steering problems

I have a 2008 f-250 and when I hit the breaks to slow down and turn my steering is really hard to turn almost like the power steering is out. It only does it when I hit the breaks other than that it is normal. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Your brake power booster and your power steering are on the same pump. You may want to look into that pump.
