Yes. And make sure the block is flat. My truck is holding over 60 psi of boost on o ringed heads, 625s, and factory gaskets. I put the 625s in after blowing the head gaskets on the normal arp studs, i didnt want to do it again...

Ok.. Factory gaskets it shall be.
The thing is.. It's not even a hotrod truck.. Still popped for no reason. I cleared the dust out of the tail pipe every once in a while that's about it

BC Canada Eh!
likely the heads were not planed
studs wont make the surfaces flat

likely the shop who did that is to blame

CTC's question still lingers...

6. 0 tech asked or mentioned the same thing. How was the deck prepped?

Bring it up and I'll fix the gaskets while doing the trans swap.

Cobra this is not my 6 speed truck.. Its my other truck in sig. My 6 speed truck is bone stock and runs like sewing machine.

But as far as block prep CTC.. I don't think anything was done on the block. I know the heads were sent to the machine shop and surfaced. I took the heads to another shop to have them ringed.. That's when I found out they were cracked under the valves. But the machine shop said all or most ford heads are cracked. Since the first machine shop apparently did not check clearances,in order to reuse these heads.. Another $500 worth of machine would have to be done now because the valve clearance was to close . I decided to order new heads though.
Where the old heads cracked where they are, the second machine shop said that wouldn't have caused the blow head gasket.
I seen the gasket.. A piece about the size of your pinky finger nail was completely gone!!

Hmm. I have never seen a gasket fail like this. You said it's O ringed too? Maybe have the depth of the ring checked, thinking maybe it's the cause here
