In case he doesn't reply for awhile, sanded the whole thing flat (raised ford letters and all) and painted the oval black. Then got red vinyl ford letters and an oval to stick back on the newly painted emblem.

yea i tried to get mine to lay like his a couple months ago and because of the rounded shape, i couldnt get the ford oval to lay right, just did our shop letters HDP. so he sanded the roundness off?

Its not sanded flat, only the raised lettering and all the blue is sanded off. It still has the convex shape to it. I'm not real sure how he got the red oval vinyl to lay correctly.

My uncle has a vinyl machine we cut it out and we sprayed it with a soapy water mix to be able to move it around and center it but the hardest part was the oval pin strip to stay down. After that dried for a couple of hrs I hit it with 2 coats of clear.

the day I brought her home:

during the transformation...new wheels/tires/clearance lights/corner lights:

after the 05 front clip and new grille:

after the new grille, bumper painted, hood, door handles paint matched, tailgate, rollpan:

and about 4 months after the new 05 clip.....comes the new front end:

and the latest with the new grille and hood( yes it's painted now, it was just on for test fitting ):

hopefully this year I'll be running quite a few new power items....is Spartan doin any 7.3 tuning? I'm looking for some more power...and if you guys are working on it, I'd prefer that....I want to get rid of my PHP tunes.
