I helped a friend of mine build a roll pan hitch, only he came up with a idea to put the hitch through the license plate... He added a hinge that he can flip down the little square when there is no hitch installed, I was never brave enough to do this to my truck!!

for the guys that have 3"+ of tire sticking outside the fenders, how do you keep from getting rock chips and scratches along your rockers???? my 16x8s tear the crap out of my fenders and rockers. my buddy with 12" wide rims has pocket flares and they help "some" but still tearing up fenders/rockers.

I don't know. I've never really had a problem with rock chips on my other truck that had 36x15.50 tires. Or I just didn't notice

I've had 12 or 14 wide rims on pretty much every truck I've owned and never had a problem with rock chips. I'm not sure why people always bring that up, I guess there's a lot of dirt roads where other people live.

i drive mine everyday offroad and everything..

but i do have rock chips and scratches but i love the look so i deal with it. my 12" wide wheels are just as bad on chipping paint as my 10" wide wheels were, so be it.
