24's are borderline too much for me. 26's are just ridiculous. I think 24's and 40's look alright though.

I run 17's and 35's. I like sidewall and rasied white letters. Jmo though. I know some guys really dig the HotWheels look

The width/lip plays a big factor in how big the rim looks as well. A chrome 24x12 rockstar with a flat face looks huge compared to a 24x14 american force with a 9" lip

I like 17/18s with 35s or 20s maybe 22s with 37s myself. I dont like the rubber band or huge sidewall look, theres a perfect median though

I'm running 35s on 16s. Any larger and I'd want a 17 but I prefer to have some sidewall for ride and offroad. I dont like the thin side wall thing on most trucks.

I'm with the old school guys. (but I'm old) I think the large rim low profile tire look is sad on a truck. They shouldn't even make a low profile mud tire... IMHO. But I didn't build up my truck to look cool. I like to go off road exploring in it. I need the sidewall for when I get on the trail and air down.

To me its more of the fact that a small rim just makes your truck look old. Look at any new car today, hell even honda's come with like 18's at the smallest. To have a late model truck and put tiny wheels on it just doesn't look right. But that's my opinion, to each his own.

Mine came with 17's and that's what I stuck with wnen I bough new wheels. Like you said though, to each his own.
