Just be patient looking for a tailgate. When i found mine, I jumped all over it. Plus I sold my old one for $350. Sold my old bumper for $140. So less than $500 I am into this. Trying to sell the old taillights

I like it! Did you decide against taping out a section for the reverse lights?

When I did my 08' tails, I tinted them as well. I tinted over the reverse lights and added low profile lights under the rear bumper. I was gonna tap them up to my reverse lights, but instead wired them into an upfitters switch so I could use them when hooking up trailers in the dark.

Don't think i'm going to ptm the handles and mirros. I kind of like having the black to contrast some. tails are smoked...just not very dark.

Looks great man. Did you dump the exhaust? Im debating on doing an axle dump on mine.

if you look in the second pic you can see it under the fender right in front of the rear tire above the traction bar. It's tucked back under so it's tough to see....

not bad....there will be a little on the paint after a few days but the truck gets rinsed off a least twice a week so it's not really an issue.

if you're talking about the rear end 08 conversion it is very simple....if you're talking about the front end 08 conversion and say it's very simle you have never done one........it's very involved and alot of fabrication work needs to be done to make it look proportionate and clean....mine's been done for 2 years now and still needs things tweaked to get it perfect.
