Couple things to be aware of. Pressure of shocks should be set with the shock fully extended. A partially collapsed shock, ie ride height, will have a different pressure than fully extended. The oil in shocks warms up, just like oil in an engine and performs differently. Street trucks vs offroad applications usually use different weights of oil that perform better/differently at different temps.

Im by no means a shock expert, Im trying to learn everything I can myself aswell. Just a couple things that I thought might help ya!

Thanks for the info Trevor. It's been cold here recently (32 and under for the high) so maybe the oil being thicker has a lot to do with it. We are going to take some action shots tomorrow. The high is mid 50s so we will see how it likes the temp change.

Took some action shots today. It is riding so much better now that it has warmed up. I think it was just the cold weather causing it to stiff.

could you heat them up before you left? then since they're getting used they'd maintain temp?

Dammit youre really making me think about moving away from my BDS plan into a Carli.

But that also bites into my budget for the other part of the plans:drool:

I had the Carli 2.5" Pintop on my 08 and it rode so nice. I would purposely hit bumps and holes as fast as possible :D

If you can swing it it is totally worth it. Completely changes the truck. But if it never gets off the highway I wouldn't recommend it just because your never going to be taking advantage of your system and may feel it's not worth it.

not gonna lie this build has inspired me to lift my truck back up a little. Now saving for a Carli commuter 2.0 kit. Nothing on this level but still.... I absolutely love this build. So so so sick

They did ok today. It was just when I was driving when it was 20 lol don't think your going to be able to keep them warm when it's that cold.

They'll get warm enough if they get used enough. We don't change anything for KOH and it was in the teens last year in the morning and don't think it ever got out of the 40s all day.

You run a rig in KOH? Don't want to muck up this thread, but i'd be interested in some details on that....

My friend has a buggy. I worked on it and pitted for him last year. Built the 3 previous cars he had with him and rode/drove with him a lot before he decided to race. If you've read anything about koh you may have heard about him, Eddie Peterson. He is the cancer guy from last year.
