swapingauto to standard tranny?

Ya sure auto has its place in racing at a track but out on the highway and on the back roads 6 speed is where its at. Most people are only at the drags once in a while. plus u pay half for a clutch to what u have to pay for that built auto.

Eeeeeh, I've had autos and zf6 trucks. I don't race at all don't live in a city and for my trucks reliability in my truck is the number one priority not shifting fast. If you want to race then yes auto hands down. I love my 6 speed 7.3 trucks I get better mpg, don't worry about a anything in the tranny giving out miles from home either. If you want the 6 speed drive one first they are slower than an auto but who cares its not like your gonna be out there racing everyone!
