Called Dp to see what the lead time was on ordering a setup. Jody recommended the 69 with the injectors I’m running. Said back pressure would be through the roof with a 64.5. Going to call swamps and see what the recommend

That's cute.

Assuming that you told him a 364.5 with the 74mm turbine side, all three (364.5,366,369) have the same exhaust side. The only difference is whatever turbine housing you choose. (And obviously the compressor side) Maybe they thought you meant the 68mm variant.

Jody doesn’t seem to recognize that the 64.5 exists with a 74mm turbine. I’m 1:1 up to sensor limits, but I haven’t measured beyond that, but it’s impossible for me to roll coal, nothing more than a haze.

Agreed. 69 or 64.5 has nothing to do with back pressure.

That's all the exhaust side.

Yes my setup isnt easily compared. However many have ran the 369 on a stock injector tuned superduty quite a few times without an issue. Kind of depends on how you use the truck. Many have said the 369 spools as fast as about equal to a 38R yet it flows much much more air.

I’m hearing the same thing, lots of folks happy towing with the 369, but hell, a 364.5 flows more air everywhere than a 38r.

That reminds me, Lakebum was chasing a P1249 wastegate code with one of his tunes, so I told him to bypass the hydra. Long story short, his 364 makes 25psi on stock injectors WITHOUT tunes. IIRC, a stock SD turbo hit between 17-19psi.

Ive also heard a similar thing to this(I think Irate told me that too). And I think this is exactly what he needs to see. Because mine, and The Brad's both come on sooner than our 38R's did. Which I'm pretty sure he's looking for something quicker spoiling than he has now.

Anything from an s364.5 - an s369 will work fine, the s364.5 will spool faster and the s369 will flow more up top, that’s it, so if you want it to spool faster s364.5 it is.

LOL sooo close. That’s the correct setup though? Want to confirm before I buy. 64.5/73.37 for the turbo. The exhaust housing said it works with 80mm/73, is that just the diff way they measure the wheel that I’ve read about?
