I'm thinking about going the non vgt route and I'm looking at MPD and CED T4 kits. Does anyone run either? I have a early build 6.0 so I have the bar going across the back of my intake manifold and was curious if this would cause any problems with either kit? Any help or tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Same boat with the same companies as you. Same year truck as a matter of fact. As cool as the MPD kit looks I've heard of issues with up pipe fitment. CED on the other hand have heard nothing but good.

I run Ced on my 03.

Get rid of that 03 intake manifold while you're working on it though. Trust me.

That was one of the first kits I found, only thing that stopped me from getting was having to get the 05 manifold for it to fit. But like Swinky said, I might just update it while I'm there.

Yeah, updating the manifold of cutting the conveyor off the back of the existing one is required with our mount but it makes things easier to work on after its done. Would love to have your business if you decide to do so, and if you have any questions just ask!

I got a deal on an old irate kit, simple and it works, looks quality. No complaints from me. And clears my dd regulated return with room to spare

That mpd kit wins for sex apeal

But at the end of the day theres a few good ones out there, cant really go wrong it seems like

Please do! I've been eyeballing that kit for quite a while. I'd like to hear what you think about it

Well got the kit in, looks awesome. Don't know if I'm suppose to get the boot and egr ****** hose? If so, I didn't. Here's a picture I found of the entire kit..
