im looking to put new tires on my truck shortly and ive always run bfg at's on my truck in the past on my half tons. lately ive been looking at the pro comp xtreme at's though and was wondering what anyones thoughts on them were. i drive on the highway and tow enough for me to want to steer clear of a mud terrain but at the same time i need something that when i do have to get off road during hunting season that im not going to get stuck on wet grass. the bfgs come with 16/32s of tread where the pro comps have 22/32s so they have a little more rubber to start with. price of the pro comps is a little higher but if its worth it ill do it.

I had them on my 08 and they wear excellent not the best on ice but seemed good in every other way. I towed with them and I can't complain. The truck still has them on it and the new owner really likes them also.

My 2007 I have Goodyear duratracs I like them haven't towed with them yet, but ice, snow and minor mud they are real good so far.

The pro comps had 30 000 miles while I had them and still have lots of tread. Not sure how much on them now but seen them the other day and still have lots of life probably at least 40k left to go but I rotated regularly every 5k miles.

I guess another question I should ask is how wide is the factory ford rim? because I'm sure I should be careful how wide of tire I put on a factory rim. Was looking at getting 325/60/18

Well I've decided to go all out and just do tires and wheels now instead of waiting. I don't have a level on my truck yet so I'm kinda torn which size tire to get. I'm going with the Xtreme at still but I'm looking at either the 325/60/18 or the 35x12.50. The rims will be pro comp 6032 series. I have a feeling both sizes will rub but one is a 12.50 and the other is like a 12.8 so would that make it a 13.50 or is it still considered a 12.50?????I'm not opposed to a leveling kit but I also don't want to lift the truck a lot. It's only an inch out of level now as it sits.

Thanks
