Yup that's exactly what I did. Just cut the ends off the factory fog wiring and slap the LED wiring on.

I need some duallys to replace my fogs and maybe a light bar. That being said I wanna get retro solutions hids for my truck. Are these lights similar in brightness like the 5 or 6k kits?

yes. my light bar was almost a perfect match to my retro 6ks.

we are now gonna have the option for 40" and 50" curved radius light bars. prices will be $500 shipped for 40" and $600 for the 50"

40" would be perfect for a 11+ bumper!
50" is awesome for any roof application!
