If i had to tow at 55-60 I would be re gearing to 456. That would suck for sure.

Went with the 275. Could not be more happy with the trip. 600 miles round trip. MA-PA and back on 84 and 81. Some good hills along the way. 10.8mpg average for the trip. Just shy of 21k gcvw.

Truck ran great. Boost was lower than I was expecting. Max of about 45, but normally right around 35-40 pulling hills. Held 65-70 mph easy up the hills. To anyone that thinks an intercooler is not worth the money... It was cooler out(50-60*), but. Even pulling hills at 45psi boost, I was only seeing about 950 egt.

Right on. I'm sure it was different for me with 37" tires and 3.73's. What were your oil, trans and coolant like?

oil high of 209, normal 200. water high of 204, normal 198. Trans never moves from the 170-180 range so I don't even watch it anymore. Had one time a while ago I was stuck at 25mph up a 10% grade for 5 minutes it went to 215, but that was it. I will monitor the trans is cases like that.

Rail pressure at 35 psi boost was dead on 20k. Seems a little high? Tcslip always less then 3 when locked.

And another good thing. I am getting almost no smoke from the 275. Even rolling hard on the throttle from low rpm (1200) towing, I am not seeing anything. Obviously if you just stomp on if it smokes, but still not that bad. I actually get much more smoke rolling into the 250 tune with a load.

Pretty good. I'm pretty sure most of the tunes would be the same if it wasn't for the throttle sensitivity. Nice feedback

sounds spot on to what my truck did a couple years ago. 275 was my favorite towing tuning honestly. low smoke great power, low egts cool oil and water temps

Rail pressure seams right to me

Trans temps are almost a non issue with these things

I think the 275 is going to be my "set it and forget it tune". I see no reason to go any lower. Maybe hit the 310 for fun every now and then. Just like my 6.0 It has had Erics X-street loaded for over 4 years without changing it. Towing, plowing, anything.

Its such a weird feeling to just be happy with my truck. Hopefully it stays that way for a while.
