how are you guys running them? in series or just the tru cool 4739? is the termal bypass needed?

LPD47391 is the one I use..no bypass...I talked to Brian at BTS about the need for the bypass he said no just first go into the rad then to the cooler..good enough for me..

I m not 100% on the model but after I lost my transmission I upgraded the cooler.

a mechanic in the shop I was at had one in his toolbox and said I could have it if I would use it.

My truck for whatever reason from the factory only had the small external cooler. I kept it and added a second 28,000# GVW cooler. Can't remember the brand or model.
