triple turbo question.

ok was wondering if i could run a couple turbo ideas by you and you give me your opinions. i was thinking 2 66mm turbos feeding either a 71mm or would a 76mm.

i considered doing the vgt.. the sizing you mentioned will work i believe, but with a 71 ... even vgt, it may be a good bit laggy.

i dont think 71mm would be laggy as log as i get the exhaust housing sizing right am i thinkin right plus i got to 66 turbo feedin it.

I take it this is gonna be a large set of triples. A 468 or 471 would be good as a secondary if that is the case.

I actually ran a 71mm vgt and it was still a bit Laggy but spooled good for the size. It made good boost (20psi) @ 1700 rpm

Personally I wouldn't go that big on the high pressure anyway. No sense in making it Laggy if it doesn't need to be. Im actually stepping down to a 63 in my compound set up in hopes to spool faster and possibly tow with the truck again

how would 2 64mm turbos feedin a 66mm sound. lookin for over a thousand hp yet still beable to tow. i know a dodge with no tuning laid down almost 900hp with a combo like that.

That would be WAY better than the 76, like said the air is there for big power with that setup.

2 small ones feed a big one. When I get around to my setup I'll go 2 62mm chargers with race covers and billet wheels feeding a 66mm vgt with a billet wheel.
