Truck ran up to 4800 rpm and hit limiter today

had mine there as well, very smooth at that rpm, exhaust note is lovely

did it all the time on a bone stock 250k mile engine, after I got my new engine in I pulled the old one apart to check for damage and found where a valve made piston contact once, very light mark, no other signs visually of any issues

Wasn't there fueling issues at those RPM's? Isn't that why Elite and others were working on specific FICM functions to spin those RPM's?

felt pretty strong to me, haven't tried it with the new engine and 190s yet
