Tune questions on new truck

My buddy just picked up an 09 king ranch CC f250, it has an AFE intake, 4" DP, DPF deleted, EGR is still intact, traction bars,.. No tuner came with the truck, I'm assuming it is tuned because the DPF is deleted, correct? He wants to delete the EGR and monitor everything. His only option I can think of is to buy a new tuner and start over, as if he has no tuner now.. I run Spartan tunes on the DD with my truck, so I know about that tuner, what is the tuners that can run KEM and gearheads? and still monitor the truck? Any other options?
