Was wondering if there was a specific hardware requirement for a tuning device.
I've seen many ODBII bluetooth adapters (don't know if read only?) and wondered if it's a possibility down the road to use an Ipod or Iphone as your tuning device connected via bluetooth.
From the software side I can see why you would be leery of doing this (piracy and having to unlicensed software in the jailbreak market) but wondered if it's theoretically possible.
Just trying to learn a little bit more about the devices.
TLDR - Is there any specific hardware requirements that restricts use of phone or bluetooth device IOS or Android as a future tuning platform?
