Once you rebuild a turbo doesn't it really need rebalanced?
Any info I should know about rebuilding the high pressure turbo?
Also I'm thinking of putting a wicked wheel 2 in my hp turbo after a 72mm atmo any thoughts?

The wheels are balanced to begin with so unless they are damaged while its apart they do not need to be rebalanced.

waste of time doing the wheel swap. I would either leave it stock or go to a 59mm hp turbo

Waste of time as in it useless or get no gains, bc I have to rebuild it anyway so even a little gain is now trouble

very very minimal gains. Use your existing turbo as a core on a 59mm. You will gain a decent chunk of hp.

^WHS, I did both hp/lp replacements but also had them balanced locally for peace of mind. I wish I would have saved the $ & bought replacement set like mentioned b/c a bit more gains from what research shows & egt's are higher it seems with just wheels done even w/every air mod added.

Sounds like I'll just leave the high pressure turbo stock and just rebuild it
