I was afraid of that. Thanks for the clarification. It's looks like something I can put on though. Does a new module have to be programmed?

It does not have to be programmed like a pcm or anything, however there is a parameter reset that needs to be performed. You may be able to get away without doing the reset, but i have never tried.

emissions should be 5 years and 60k miles. Goto diff dealer

The problem with that is that these are not considered light duty due to the gvwr. I went thru a fiasco with esp and normal warranty, as esp said it was covered by emissions till 60 or 80k, as thatwas what it was on a normal vehicle. Part number was coming up as not covered. Warranty admin pulled out coverage, and it was covered by emissions as.long as something like 8499 or less gvwr, over 8500 or whatever it was, may have been 8000, it was nly covered to x amount of miles

I didn't do it for the extra power either. I did it so i didn't have to post about the things you are going through lol. When I dleeted there was h&s or s p a r t a n. Im clueless now with all the possibilities. Id pm bigpowr on here and he can certainly straighten you out and get you what you want without breaking the bank

Awesome. Can't wait to get this crap off my truck so it can eat. Everything seems pretty easy to install. I want to keep the factory tail pipe though. Is there exhaust that allows that?

It needs batteries. Seen this quite a tew times. Check connections too though. Just because theyve got 12.7v doesnt mean they have enough juice to crank it.

Good lord. I bet batteries ant cheap in these trucks. Guess the new tires will have to wait.

It seems like the batteries should last longer than this. It's a 2012. Are diesel trucks harder on batteries?

You were correct. One battery was showing 65 cranking amps.

Always replace in pairs! If you dont you will be putting the other one in in a few months, then this one again, etc.... The bad one causes way too much draw on the good one, which will test fine now, but eventuallywill chit itself in the near future and youll be in the same place you are now.
