My first question would be why did it require new heads?

Truck was studded way back. Heads failed pressure testing at the machine shop. Pretty bad luck really. Replaced with new heads from ford to bypass any potential issues sometimes seen with rebuilt cylinder heads. At that time, iirc, there were a lot of issues going around with bad cores or bad rebuilt heads. Wasn't worth the risk. Everything was done right on this one though. No expense spared lol
