I know that this tells on my complete ignorance but I am trying to learn.. I have Eric's extreme street tune, extreme race tune and tow tow with the sct 4 tuner. I have not done the deletes and only mod is cold air intake. I seem to like the extreme street so far..

My questions, what gauges are important to monitor and what am I watching for?

The gauges I can monitor (some may be repeats):

Air fuel ratio
Engine load
Exhaust gas temp
External air temp
Torque

Barometric pressure
Battery voltage
Dpf soot mass
Distance sine dtc cleared
Dtc count
Coolant temp
Engine oil temp
Fuel rate
Intake air temp
Maf frequency
Reductant line pressure
Reductant urea level
Throttle position absolute
Transmission temp
Turbo boost

Once again, please forgive my complete ignorance. I am only trying to understand what's important to monitor and what I am looking for and why... Again its not deleted (yet).

Location
Rockisland County IL
EOT, tranny temp, coolant temp

Keep a eye on those and learn the normal temps, that way if one is way off you know something is up.

Hope that helps

I watch EOT, ECT, Trans and EGT if I'm towing. Anything else is unnecessary IMHO.

Thanks for the answers.. Makes complete sense to watch for norms to identify anything abnormal..
