I have a 97 f250HD 5spd 4x4. The truck has a 60 swap and currently has 3.55 gears with a limited slip and 37s. Currently at 65-70 mph I am turning between 1900-2200 rpm. It seems a little high to me. Every gear calculator I have found says with the 5spd and 37s I need to get 4.30s. Same with plugging in the final drive ratio of the zf6 i want to swap in. not sure if these would be too low or not. Just trying to find the best ratio for hauling and daily driving. 4.30s are a bit more expensive as well. many people have told me to run 4.10s and be done with it. Suggestions and opinions are welcome.
