Another Fischer plow for you?

just the one on 6.4 the 7.3 has one already but i was thinking about selling the mm1 straight blade and upgrading to new wiring and a new stainless v blade. but the old plow works fine, just needs the filter changed.

the guys got a picture of the stainless v blade on the truck but i'm waiting for them to send it to me, and i need to make a place for it in the garage or on the driveway which could take a few months to clean with how busy my dad is with his business. So i told them keep the blade for a few months.

Nice man. I'm still looking for one, don't want to spend 5k on a new one but that may have to happen.

one reason that helped me go new is its an expense for me, and I have around 50 driveways I do so my Roi will be excellent and could take 2 weeks or it could take 2 months either way it was safe buy. not too mention all the used fisher xv2 stainless blades were on craigslist for 5400-4500 brand new my 8.6' stainless v blade was less then 4000 with a warranty everything installed out the door was 6k...

Plow mounts hang down too low for off roading anyhow. I'd love to have a plow, but I guess it's one or the other...

Never really been a problem for me. Caught ground a few times, just digs through.

x2 i've taken my 7.3 through some pretty nasty chit, and up some pretty steep hills plow frame never got in the way, although coming down some steep chit, it did dig a tiny bit on at the bottom, but i don't go offroading in my work trucks for fun very often, usually a trailer is in tow behind me and i have a reason i'm going off the road. plow frames and logs don't mix that's for sure lol.

That's the only reason I don't have one on mine.

I'm getting ready to build a new mount for my truck to work with my custom bumper. I also hope to make it some what easy to remove for the summer to be able to play off road. or my other plan (I don't Like) Take the winch bumper off in the winter and put back on in the summer.

Just gotta hit it at an angle, lol

Some time that works.

My old Chevy I used to pull the hole plow mount and upper off every spring.

I wouldn't have a problem taking the bumpers on and off, but the plow frame is a total bitch. With the engine crane it would take 10 minutes tops to do the bumper. Plow frame. .. Couple hours.
