I was surfing around here this morning on the internet and came across this:

http://afepower.com/shop/details_new.php?partno=43-13071&print=true

Afe make an aftermarket torque converter for the 6r140? I wonder if anyone has/ or will be ballsy enough to try this! I know that afe was once known for their air filters, maybe this is a new leaf?

I really don't know what to think? Do you?

If it works awesome. Probably having some other company build them with the AFE name on them.

out of stock ?
I highly doubt they had a big purchasing spree on them ?

I would trust other names for a $1000 torque converter on a brand new truck before AFE myself and any trans issues you are pulling it out before taking it in IMHO

however that's quite the 0-60 time decrease if true

I dont think they were ever in stock..

aFe is one of the companies known for releasing all the information before final production begins, or right as it does. They want to spark interest to determine their first couple production runs..

Common practive in marketing, which we do NOT agree with.

That could be. but for some reason i thought i could get them before. Maybe I just never dug into it enough.

But anyway still not good to have it three but not have them to sell.
