It looks like a nicely built piece. I got it today on a trade for a few things. Just looking to decide whether I want to try and sell or put it in my other truck...

Thanks Rich! That's definitely what it is. It's not home made. It's all fiberglass and extremely sturdy. They retail for $500+, so I say it's a win.

Has anyone ever tried to re-do the foam surround on a speaker?

Never tried it myself. Contact Fi Audio. They can re-surround it or drop a new cone in.

For that sub its easier to just grab a new one. It's a lower end JL sub.
