Going to put 315/75R16 tires back on but need new wheels for Discount Tire to mount them and wear decent. I want to use an 8" wide wheel with just enough offset to keep them off the springs. Is this possible?
I'd really like to use a bullet-hole style wheel like this: http://www.wheelsforless.com/IO171-6870B but it will actually give me just a hair less inner clearance compared to the OEM wheels. I don't think i'd need much of a spacer.. maybe 1/2"?
I'm seeing 17x9 wheels being used with -12 mm offset without rubbing, so to say I'm confused would be an understatement; wheels are not one of my areas of expertise. :doh:
Any recommendations on potential spacers or wheels that would work for me? Thanks!
Oh, suspension isn't stock... 1-ton DRW rear springs with original 2" block; F450 front springs with PMF leveling shackles
