I'm looking to purchase a 6.7 soon and haven't kept up on the 6.7's much.

What years should I be looking at?

I heard the 2015's have a different or better turbo but that's about all I know

13s and up have larger brakes.
15 and up have a different turbo and fuel pump good for 600hp but weaker transmission.

both are great pickups in my opinion, if you want the best out of the box performance I'd go with a 15+, don't know what they're all selling for right now, but maybe a guy could save enough money on a 11-14 to justify throwing a 15+ turbo on it right away.

People say the 15 trans is weaker, but I've got 37k miles in the 600hp tune. Towing, drag racing, and sled pulling.

I drain the pan every 10k.

I vote 2015-16!

I managed to find a 2015 with 17k miles on it. Lots of mods!

I've never heard anyone say there's a "bad year" for 6.7's. some claim the earlier 2011 trucks had small issues but I have a job 1 2011 and love the way it runs. The only thing I wish is that I had another truck just like it to modify heavily and have fun with lol

What's the difference in the trans from '11-14 and '15 and up? I didn't know they were different.

clutch count in the directs. 15-16 have less than 11-14. Apparently 17+ are different again-havent heard specifics.

Injen has been making intakes and exaust setups for a while now. They have a much bigger presence in the tuner or "riceburner" market than they do in the diesel truck market. Injen makes some quality stuff, though I have never seen their products on a diesel. I have to admit, the one on your truck looks pretty slick.
