Another win for cab on! Actually wasn't bad at all. Pulled that inspection cover on the EVAP box and that made them all easy to get to. Bought that tool just in case, and ended up using it on the back two bottom bolts. Worked like a charm.

Couple questions though. If I use that tool to torque the studs, shouldn't I need to lower the TQ number to take into acct the tool? Or am I thinking about that wrong?

When I pulled the exhaust manis, a couple
Bolts were loose, and neither side had a gasket. Not sure how the thing sealed with no gasket. Might explain some if the boost issues I've had, and the exhaust smell in the cab from time to time.

My son actually worked the lift when I pulled the heads today. He had been dying to "help" all weekend.

Had all the accessories pulled off a couple weeks ago down to the valve covers. Spent about 5-6hrs Friday removing injectors, valve train, uppipes, head bolts, etc. basically today all I did was hook the lift to them and lift them off. I'm sure it,can be done faster, but I was taking my time, in no hurry at all.
