Who has a painted grill surround?

usually the grill's dont chip. the bumper chips.

Mine has been the opposite but mostly due to my lack of prep when I painted it

Here's a photo of the push pin half broken off.

I think these are the pins that I drilled the centers out of and then just popped them out with a screwdriver. Just another method if you don't wanna jack with breaking them.

If they're the ones I think they are, they have a circle indention in the center, I just stuck the next size down drill bit in there and drilled them, and then they came out easily.

i wonder if push pin pullers work with those. i know mine broke and were replaced. those pullers are really awesome. i remember using them on my hood liner and they all lived.

Well the local dealer has a used KR in autumn red so maybe I can talk to dieselflash and see about swapping grills.
