Who has the best price on Ford hd reman tranny?

Cousin blew the tranny in his truck, boiled it out the front seal. I told him to go with a Ford hd reman, he said they quoted him 4100.... seems high when you can get a bts for 4500

$2700 plus install... Have them install a 6.0 Trans cooler at the same time. Should be out the door for $3500 or so.

Ok thanks, yeah I've already tossed two coolers on his other truck. E99 tranny is the same as late 99 right?

Sounds very high for a stock reman. You can get a BTS for $500 more. Like posted earlier, you can get a 4R100 for a lot cheaper from Ford. As hard as that is to believe.

Yeah I know, I almost dropped my phone when he said what tires plus quoted him for a Ford HD reman

I paid $2850 + tax for one, plus a V10 cooler and new feed/return lines about 3yrs ago.
Installed it myself in half a day.

Seriously give Sunrise Ford (forum sponsor) a call. They beat every dealerships price on just about everything, at least in my experience. You can get the HD4R100 for very close to what most dealerships want to charge for the normal 4R100.
