Will an early 99 7.3 long block bolt into an 01 truck without to much trouble?

Is there any reason an early 99 engine would not work in an 01 truck? If i just use the long block everything should swap over correct? Are the intake housings? (what bolts to the head) a different tube size? Hope that made sense. Will the early 99 injectors run with the 01 computer/idm? Thanks

It will swap right over...

However I would take your injectors, intake plenums, turbo set up and HPOP off your old motor and install in this one.

I just dropped an e99 motor into my truck. Like joe said, use your inj, plenums, turbo, and hpop.
