I am looking into putting dual hpop on my 7.3. And just trying to get a few opinions from those running dual setups already. I'm planning on going with 250/200s. So I know I need dual pumps just trying to decide which setup I want to go with.

No you don't.....at all. Actually I would strongly urge against getting dual pumps and going with a single. There are PLENTY of single pumps on the market that will support that injector.

Nothing Wrong with a dual setup.. I don't know where people get off saying there's lots of single pumps out there.. No there's not. for 250/200 theres only the srp1.1. the billet pumps won't be available for months.. So your options are srp 1.1, duals (terminator/used stealth/Bts) and gen 3

T500 is not enough for 200% nozzles so don't even say it. Will the truck run with it? Yes. will it run better with a 1.1 or duals? Hell yes

Interesting, I thought that pump could support that size injector, but I've been wrong before LOL. I guess I shouldn't have said "PLENTY" because really the only two I had in mind were the srp1.1 and the T500. I also didn't know the billet pumps were that far behind....I guess personally I just prefer a single pump.

I have two pumps already so I have been looking at the terminator and stealth setup. Only thing With the terminator is the single IPR valve. I have talked to people that have done lots of testing with every setup out there, and I'm concerned with ICP spiking near 4000 at times.

Skip the duals... Get the SRP1.1...

FYI, 250/200's will run just fine with the stock 17* pump...

I cant hold 2800psi with stock injectors. Thats why I'm looking at duals. I now have a modded 17* pump, but still may have it modded to T-500. Also, wouldnt going to duals help with building pressure faster? Better helping on acceleration?

that's what I'm thinking...

250cc injector uses ZERO more HPOil than a stock AD injector... (though the 200 nozzle will affect the rate)

and FWIW, I'm running 200/200's in both of my DD's...stock HPOP's and can hold infinity ICP if I want...

have your tuner pull some PW down low (hell, you shouldn't ever need more than @ 2.5ms)...where the pump speed is low, then you shouldn't have any issue maintaining adequate ICP...

I am having my tuner detune the injectors to require less hpo and not work the injectors as hard. But I will still have one tune that maxs out the injectors just for fun.
Has anyone put dual IPRs on dual termy's?

Dual pumps is the only way to go. It is honestly impossible to get the flow out of any single on the market, no matter how great it is advertised to be.
The SRP1.1 might be a fantastic pump, but it is still a single and you cant forget that.
The T1000 is also another option for a single pump, but again its a single.

Let me know if you need any help purchasing a pump or have any questions!

Still stock injector trucks can benifit from the increased volume of a larger single/ duals. Same with 250/200's. The way I see it go big or go home.. Get the 1.1 or duals.

Its not all about maintaining max icp, or it wasn't for me. The biggest advantage (maybe the only) with dual pumps that move twice the oil as a stock pump, is that the srp only flows a percentage more than stock, certainly not double. It only takes a percentage more than a stock pump to get the system to maintain max icp on a hard run. however the pump only spins 85% of the crankshaft speed, so the pumps are at a fixed speed. At low rpm's usually converter is locked in gear, dual pumps offer instantaneous oil pressure, essentially its like having a single pump spinning twice the speed. No I didn't neeed two oil pumps for my injectors, but I sure love the low end response and snappy off-boost power that double of stock oil volume offers me, im happy with my stealth pumps.

Oh and it's worth mentioning I paid only $800 for the pumps, what's the srp1.1 cost again??

..I’m running BTS twins on mine with 350cc Bi's.. works very good.. for me.. Still have lots of oil.. I think with 250/200 you should at least run a up graded pump at a minimum.. so you dont suffer with lack of oil..

I dont understand why people cant get that thru there thick heads... I dont know if its just a really good almond salesmans constant cheer leading or old tuning ideas...

There is no reason to have 3.5ms of pw at 1300rpm's...

Thank you... got a kid that went from not knowing how to install a EGT gauge to being a vendor in less then 3 years, and one of the biggest Term nutswingers on the forums taking pot shots again...
