I have searched and can’t find much. I know they changed the piston bowl design after 03 for efficiency and made changes to the cam profile as well for better egr efficiency.
My 06 lost 2 cylinders and was already .040 over I have a good 03 short block and a new set of o rings heads. Question...
I tried an older tune file tonight only called for 2.6 pw problem was still there but didn’t happen until after 3000 rpm or so. Truck pulled a lot higher into the rpms than with other tuning. Icp 3200 max 32% duty cycle.

Single IPR. I was able to get icp in check with a few tune changes. However I still have a miss/chug at wot at about 3k rpm. Feels like the truck cuts all power.

Does not seem to be rpm dependent injector pulse width is somewhere around 3.5 . I have dataloged what I can but nothing seems to correlate with the missing/cutting out. One thing I do see strange is the coolant temp but most people say you can’t read it from the computer.

Tuner lowered icp in a few different tunes 2800 3000 and 3200. Issues still exist. I’m not sure where to go at this point. Truck starts to pull hard but anything over 3/4 throttle has a terrible miss and seems to not fuel at all. I see no change in pulse width when this happens. Truck...
They are fresh unlimited injectors but yes technically are remans. I suppose I’ve never had a “new” injector in a 7.3. I have tried various companies on remans though never had an issue up until this point. Again not bashing unlimited they already offered me to send them back and flow them...
Yeah I agree I guess my thought are that my injectors are popping off at a lower icp than 3200. Currently max my tuners are calling for. From what little I was able to dig up some evidence suggested that once they started floating poppets icp would then max out around 3800. I would like some...
I’ve been searching but can’t find a whole lot of info on it. Those who have floated injector poppets what are your symptoms and upon floating did icp then max out?
I’m trying to track down an issue seems if I keep icp around 3000 I’m fine anything more than that on a hotter tune my truck...

Yeah price is not a huge factor. I plan on racing the truck. 2 stages of nitrous with a 45mm gate. From what I’m gathering I can only find one 7.3 running a 96 wheel with the fi476. Everyone else has ran the 92.

Running a box 75 and Want to upgrade to a billet forced inductions s476 question is has anyone ran it with a 96 wheel. Don’t know wether to go 92/1.10 or 96/1.10? 96 is 100$ cheaper.
